The Evelyn Graces Academy was designed by Zaha Hadid Architects and is situated in London's suburban area aimed to boost the regions worth.The Evelyn Grace Academy is a government funded sports and recreational facility for all student is the area with all the latest and most modern gadgets and equiptment, its aim was to promote exercise to the youth community.
Zaha Hadid Architects approached this project with a futuristic conceptual design. The key elements in her design i found were the pertruding lineal elements which was backed by grazing to the whole building. The complexion is rather simple, base on shades and tones to highlight the building’s integrity. I found that the design works alot on the longitudonal aspect of the land. isolating these three key concepts, longitudonal design, pertruding elements & a simple complexion can really generate a great design.
In using the basic design of the building with its shape and features as a starting point, i began isolating segments of the building and fine tunning parts of the facade which i found lacked some kind of features.
I highlighted certain elements that i thought would emphasis the buildings charecter but never took away the key elements that made the evelyn grace building what it really is, an art work in its own right.
I had fun twisting and turning, adding and subtracting bit and peices of an already designed building and am very happy with the finished product, and hope i did zaha hadid architects some justice in my modifications to the evelyn grace academy.
The design as a whole had a lot of potential and i found it rather easy to manipulate.

Final Posters
My posters conceptual design was created by the locality of the project. Being situated in the darker side of london i thought it was appropriate to reflect that in the colours and themes used in designing my posters. The grundgey dirty look i think helps the audience understand the roots of this building. Also to emphasis the long and strechyness of the building i found that placing these 3 posters side by side puts a strong emphasis on that idea of the design.
